Thank you for considering Lota State School as the educational facility for your student. Enrolments at our school continue throughout the year. Should you wish to enrol your child into our school, please contact our administration office to schedule an interview with the Principal.
Lota State School is an Enrolment Managed School and has a maximum student enrolment capacity of 260 student. A school's local catchment area is the defined geographical area from which the school is to have its core intake of students.

Enrolment process
- Please contact or visit our school office to collect an enrolment pack. You will find the required forms on our 'Enrolment forms' panel on this page.
- Return the completed enrolment forms either via email or in person to our school office.
- Make an appointment through the school office for an enrolment interview or book a school tour.
Please print and complete the below Enrolment Pack which should then be handed in at the office.

Prep
Prep Student Resource Scheme is created to support families, as payment of $120.00 isn't due until Term 3.
This amount is approved by our P&C Association every year.
If you do not wish to participate in the scheme then this is a list of required items for prep.
What to bring to the interview?
- Student's birth certificate.
- Recent past report.
- Any other information relating to student's educational needs (eg. specialist reports - speech language.)
- Non-Australian residents should present their passport to allow college staff to sight and photocopy their current visa of entry.
- One of the following proof of residency documents within the catchment area: Electricity/gas bill, Drivers licence, Tenancy agreement.
- Medicare card if student's surname is different from the enrolling parent.
