The Adventurers' Club Camping Program

The Adventurers’ Club Camping Program commenced over 40 years ago as an opportunity for metropolitan students, and their families, to experience camping in a regional setting.
The Adventurers’ Club Camping Program is a school-based and school organised camping program for students from Prep to Year Six and their families.  It is highly valued by our community and remains a strong focus of our school identity.  School staff organise all aspects of the camp and the program is tied to the curriculum of science and geography.  Volunteer parents support teachers before and during the camping experience.
Throughout the year, two camps are held varying in lengths of 2 to 4 days.  All children from prep to year 6 are able to participate in our camping program; however students in prep to year 5 must be accompanied by an adult.
This club is unique because we are the only school in this area that has the service, equipment and experience to successfully operate such an activity.
